Dr. Kenneth A. Lebow
Kenneth Lebow received his OD degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1973. He operates a private practice specializing in contact lenses, clinical research and consultation to industry. A member of the American Optometric Association, Past President of the Virginia Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Lebow has lectured extensively throughout the United States and internationally as well as having published many articles on contact lens related topics. Previously, he served as the Contact Lens Editor for Optometry Today and currently he is authoring a monthly column for Spectrum on corneal topography. He has performed extensive clinical investigations for all of the major contact lens and solution manufacturers and has served on a variety of industry advisory panels. A charter member and Past Chair of the AOA Contact Lens Section, he was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Contact Lens Council. Formerly, he held the rank of an Associate Professor of Optometry, Clinical Research Consultant, for the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA, and Adjunct Professor for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry as well as, maintaining a private practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Dr. Valerie L. Foytik
Dr. Valerie L. Foytik received her OD degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2009. She joined our practice immediately.
Dr. Foytik specializes in children’s vision, low vision, contact lenses and primary care for all age groups. She works closely with Virginia Eye Consultants and co-manages their post-operative patients.
Dr. Foytik is a member of Vision Source, the Tidewater Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, Dr. Foytik and her husband, Peter, enjoy sports and the love of their two children, Eve and Abel, as well as, their two labradoodles Kyla and Isis. She is a wonderful addition to our practice!
Dr. Elizabeth Baylor
Dr. Elizabeth Baylor is a native of the Tidewater area who was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. She completed her undergraduate degree at North Caroline State University and then received her optometric doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She provides comprehensive eye care services specializing in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, conditions and post-operative surgical care in areas such as: dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and more. She is most passionate in fitting all types of contact lenses including specialty rigid and scleral lenses for corneal conditions such as keratoconus. Dr. Baylor is a member of the Tidewater Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
